SilTest and Wellmatix sign MoU to strengthen EU and Korea semiconductor collaboration
SilTest and the Korean AI platform company Wellmatix will represent each other in their home markets, connecting materials innovation with device-level test and yield optimization.

SilTest Semiconductors GmbH, a European provider of semiconductor test, product engineering, and AI-powered yield analytics, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Wellmatix, a Korean AI platform company focused on materials discovery and semiconductor innovation.
The agreement was formalized during SEMICON Korea as part of the EU Business Hub delegation, reinforcing the growing collaboration between European and Korean deep-tech ecosystems in the semiconductor domain.
Strategic collaboration across markets
Under the terms of the MoU, Wellmatix will act as SilTest's representative in the Korean semiconductor market, supporting business development, customer engagement, and technology collaboration. In parallel, SilTest will represent Wellmatix in the European market, opening access to semiconductor manufacturers, research institutions, and industrial partners across the EU.
The partnership brings together two complementary organizations:
- Wellmatix contributes AI-driven materials modeling and discovery, working with semiconductor companies on next-generation materials and process optimization.
- SilTest contributes post-silicon engineering depth: test solution development, characterization, yield analysis, and AI tools such as YieldOptiX and the VISTAR platform.
Together, the collaboration aims to bridge materials innovation with device-level testing and yield optimization, for a more integrated and data-driven approach across the semiconductor value chain.

The partnership reflects a shared view that artificial intelligence belongs not only in materials discovery, but also in accelerating product development, improving yield, and reducing time to market.
